In June 2025, Thai merchandise exports rose 15.5% year-on-year to USD 28,649.9 million, supported by electronics and gold exports. However, slower growth was seen in various sectors, while imports increased by 13.1%. Trade balance recorded a surplus of USD 1,061.7 million.
Outlook quarter 4/2025
Thailand’s economy is projected to grow only 1.5% in 2026, the lowest in three decades, due to external pressures from trade wars and competition, alongside domestic structural issues. Urgent reforms are needed to boost resilience and economic potential amid rising uncertainties.
