go! WOW, variety store for daily needs, launches the first 2 standalone stores in community areas...
  • CRC Thaiwatsadu continues to accelerate its business with a new model of go! WOW as standalone stores, focusing on accessibility for communities and product prices starting from only 5 baht, with plans to expand new stores continuously

Bangkok, June 8, 2022 – CRC Thaiwatsadu Company Limited under Central Retail continues to expand its variety store business by introducing a new model for go! WOW. The first two standalone stores will be introduced to get closer to consumers in community areas. This will cater to the expansion of cities to suburban areas. The stores will meet the need for convenience and affordability in purchasing variety products.

Mr. Suthisarn Chirathivat, Chief Executive Officer of CRC Thai Watsadu Ltd under Central Retail, said that the competition in the home convenience products and accessories business is very intense as the market is growing alongside the expansion of the real estate market. CRC Thaiwatsadu recognizes this opportunity and is ready to expand the go! WOW variety store to offer everyday products in a standalone format. Initially, go! WOW was present only in shopping centers, but now we will expand to community areas and will introduce two new stores to expand our business where the potential is strong. This responds to the consumer lifestyle today as more and more people live outside the city areas. We offer various products at affordable prices to make them accessible for consumers in every area. We will begin with 2 go! WOW standalone stores – go! WOW Sikhio Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima and go! WOW Sappattana in Samutprakan.

go! WOW Sikhio Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima covers an area of 700 sq m and is located in a high potential area of Sikhio, a gateway to the Northeast. It is a community area with 18 villages nearby. go! WOW Sappattana in Samutprakan covers an area of 500 sq m in a high potential area which has many residential projects such as home projects and condominiums. Such expansion to communities outside the cities will help make home products accessible and affordable for consumers in those areas.

The go! WOW standalone stores are decorated in striking red color, with products beautifully displayed in dedicated zones to allow easy browsing. Price tags are clearly labeled and there are more than 14,000 items on offer, starting from only 5 baht. This meets the needs of residents in community areas as they can access home decor items, kitchen products, car accessories, toys, sport equipment, and gardening products. Customers who shop at go! WOW can also collect The1 points by using their registered phone number or ID card number with their purchase.

Suthisarn added that today, go! WOW has 23 stores nationwide in Bangkok and other provinces. Nine of them are in Bangkok and vicinity, and 14 are in other provinces. The company continues to seek new high potential locations to ensure nationwide coverage. The company will focus on standalone store expansion to target families and communities who are target consumers of go! WOW.

To celebrate the new go! WOW stores, a special promotion is on offer, such as buy 5 get 1 free from today to July 30, 2022. The1 members receive a go! WOW bag when spending 250 baht or more per receipt (300 first customers/store). For more updates and promotion details, visit www.gowow.co.thm Facebook Fan page: Go WOW or call 02-103-3456.
