Bangkok Bank arranged an electric light lantern with Bangkok Bank’s logo as a Buddhist offering to be lit by His Majesty the King during the royal merit-making ceremony for the 2024 Visakha Bucha Day celebration at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the Royal Palace. The Bureau of the Royal Household will install the lanterns received from the public in the pavilion of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha on Visakha Bucha Day, which this year falls on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, or the 15th day on the 6th lunar month. This event aims to continue tradition and maintain the establishment of the blessings of Buddhism in Thailand.
