Bangkok Bank has reserved an additional 40 billion baht in cash to serve higher demand at more than 8,000 Bangkok Bank ATMs and branches nationwide during Songkran. The Bank will frequently refill cash at ATMs to support government plans to organize activities that celebrate the Songkran 2024 festival.

Bangkok Bank reported that it has reserved an additional 40 billion baht of cash at its more than 8,000 ATMs and branches around the country to meet higher customer demand during the Songkran festival between April 12 – 16, 2024. During this time, people will spend more on goods, gifts, food, and drink to celebrate the Songkran festival with many travelling to other provinces or back to their hometowns to receive blessings from their senior relatives during Thai New Year.

Customers can use Bangkok Bank’s financial services at more than 200 micro branches in department stores and community locations nationwide, and cash deposits and withdrawals are also available at more than 200,000 Bank agent service points across the country at Counter Service at 7-eleven, Lotus’s stores, Bank@Post at Thailand Post, Boonterm kiosks (cash deposit), Big C Supercenter (cash deposit), SABUY COUNTER, SABUY VENDING PLUS, and Term Dee kiosks. Other electronic channels are also available to provide services to customers including ATMs, CDMs, Bualuang iBanking, Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking, Bualuang Phone 1333 or 0 2645 5555, and QR Code payments.

The Bank has also prepared a plan to increase the frequency of cash refills in locations near major tourist attractions and communities so customers have enough cash to meet their needs during the holidays, as well as ensuring they can conveniently make other required financial transactions.
