Showcasing Thailand at OTM 2025

Mumbai, India, hosts the Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2025, with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) presenting its myriad attractions. Regarded as South Asia’s largest travel trade fair, OTM features over 1,600 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, attracting over 40,000 visitors. This includes leisure and corporate travel professionals and enthusiasts. TAT aims to promote Thailand’s unique offerings, appealing especially to its significant Indian market.

Celebrating Indian Tourism Growth

TAT Governor, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, highlights the importance of Indian tourism, celebrating over 2 million Indian visitors to Thailand in 2024. The Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025 campaign aims to inspire first-time visitors and strengthen ties with Indian travelers. Focus areas include cultural promotions, business exchanges, and showcasing diverse experiences through luxury, wellness, and family-oriented offerings.

Expanding Thai-Indian Tourism Connections

Participating in OTM for the 12th consecutive year, TAT emphasizes the rich Thai culture and hospitality. With a goal of 2.3 million Indian visitors in 2025, TAT focuses on family vacations, weddings, and luxury tourism. Initiatives like “Living it up in Thailand” and “The Celebrations with Care and Inner Shine” are tailored for millennials and family events, respectively. Popular Thai destinations include Bangkok, Phuket, and emerging spots like Surat Thani, with activities ranging from beach holidays to exploring historic sites.
