Since last year, AREA 02 has been actively expanding its Southeast Asia market, offering direct shipping to regions such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. According to company data, overseas demand for limited-edition sneakers and streetwear has nearly doubled compared to the previous year, with the number of active users growing by approximately 70%. Alongside this growth, consumer expectations for product authenticity and delivery speed have also risen. To meet these expectations, AREA 02 will slash shipping fee from the end of May: rates to Hong Kong will drop by around 41%, Singapore by 50%, and Malaysia by an impressive 56%

By reducing international shipping costs, we expect a significant increase in completed transactions and conversion rates. Looking ahead for future growth, AREA 02 is also laying the groundwork. "Mobile wallets are set to become a standard feature in cross-border e-commerce," Chen added. "By the second half of 2025, we plan to integrate local e-wallets starting with Malaysia and Hong Kong. In addition, we’re developing an AI-powered chatbot that will offer multilingual support to help customers with logistics inquiries, order tracking, and refund policies."

AREA 02 aims to grow its order volume in Southeast Asia by 50% by the end of 2025, while continuing to expand into new markets. With a comprehensive strategy, the brand is strengthening its market presence, customer trust, and global competitiveness.
