SHENZHEN, China, Feb. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Malaysia officially assumed its role as the 2025 ASEAN Chair. On February 17, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian Prime Minister Yab Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim stated that, to maintain ASEAN’s economic resilience, the region should address challenges in three key areas: supply chains, energy security and sustainable development, digital economy and artificial intelligence. He suggested that ASEAN and China could strengthen technological cooperation, promote sustainable development, and enhance the training of technical personnel in the future.

In recent years, China and Malaysia have deepened and solidified their cooperation.
