Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with a delegation of Japanese business representatives led by Yohei Kono, president of the Japan International Trade Promotion Association, in Beijing on June 3.

The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation in industrial and supply chains, the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), and the Expo 2025 Osaka.

Ren stated the foundation for cooperation between the economic sectors of China and Japan is solid, with a strong willingness to collaborate. He highlighted the Chinese government’s commitment to developing Sino-Japanese relations and the importance of exchanges between the business communities and the friendship between both peoples.

Kono noted that China has shown strong support for Expo 2025, enabling visitors worldwide to experience its beauty at the China Pavilion. He also expressed confidence that future collaboration between the two organizations will produce even more fruitful results.
