As Songkran, the Thai New Year, begins, Spotify has launched a special edition playlist to celebrate. The “Sawasdee Songkran” features homegrown artists such as Gavin D, Youngohm and Sprite. Familiar Thai beats will include “Tud Tud” (ตื๊ด ตื๊ด)” and “Pump Pump” or “Ah Ah”. Other popular tracks include “ธาตุทองซาวด์” by Youngohm and Sonofa, “ง้อว (Smile Please)” featuring Fourth, Gemini, Ford, Satang, Winny, Mark, Captain and Prom, and “ลูกเทวดา” by Sprite featuring Guygeegie. Residents in Thailand can get a week of ad-free music listening for THB2 with Spotify’s latest Premium Mini offer until 16 April 2023.
