Thai Credit Retail Bank has launched two social programs through its foundation, “EMpower for Community” Initiatives, with the aim of creating self-reliant communities and promoting local wisdom for economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The Self-Reliant Community Development Project, based on the BCG Economy Model, will develop high-value products and services that are eco-friendly and conserve natural resources. The Community-Driven Product Development Project will generate income by using local wisdom to create value-added products. The bank will select winning products from community enterprises for customers who use its services. The foundation also aims to provide financial knowledge and discipline to community members, including small business owners and students.
