Bangkok Bank, as a trusted partner, has prepared red Ang Pao envelopes for customers to celebrate Chinese New Year 2024. They are decorated with the Chinese character “Fu” which means “happiness, blessing and good fortune”. The envelopes also carry four Chinese characters, “Gong he xin xi,” meaning “Best Wishes for New Year,” and are decorated with auspicious symbols including “lantern” representing prosperity, wealth, and the banishment of bad things;
“Ancient Chinese coins” representing wealth; “Lotus” representing purity, cleanliness, goodness, valuables, prosperity, wealth, richness, luck, unity and security; and “Wave” representing incoming money. The envelopes are beautifully printed with a special technique called gold hot stamping, so customers can use them when giving blessings to their families and other people during Chinese New Year 2024, the golden dragon year. Giving out these red envelopes is an annual tradition that Bangkok Bank does to help its customers celebrate Chinese New Year.

Customers can also give Ang Pao gifts online via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking with an e-slip that has been specially designed under the theme of Chinese New Year celebration.
