The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched the Thailand Golf Travel Mart 2024 in Bangkok, highlighting Thailand as a premier global golf destination with events, networking, and showcasing top courses and hospitality.

TGTM 2024 Kicks Off in Bangkok

Bangkok, 18 September 2024 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launched the Thailand Golf Travel Mart (TGTM) 2024 to highlight Thailand as a world-class golf destination. The B2B marketplace runs from 17-19 September at various venues around Bangkok. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, emphasized the importance of showcasing Thailand’s top-notch sports and hospitality offerings, which significantly drive the nation’s economy.

Showcasing Premium Golf Experiences

TGTM 2024 hosted 63 golf holiday specialists and 59 Thai exhibitors, including golf courses and hotels, along with 31 foreign media. The event began with a Networking Golf Inspection and Tournament at Siam Country Club Bangkok and continued with a Welcome Dinner at Topgolf Megacity. On the second day, B2B sessions and networking functions took place at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel.

Promoting Thailand’s Golf Tourism

Mr. Siripakorn Cheawsamoot, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing, introduced the “Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End” campaign at the opening ceremony. Thailand offers over 250 golf courses catering to all levels, including hidden gems like Gassan Legacy Golf Club and Royal Creek Golf Club. Prominent golf events like the Honda LPGA Thailand solidify Thailand’s reputation. TAT’s “Amazing Golf in Southern Thailand” promotion further encourages locals to enjoy golfing experiences.
