The largest exported type was white rice (5.18 million tons, accounting for 62.04% of the total rice exports), followed by Thai Hom Mali Rice (16.40%), parboiled rice (12.10%), Thai fragrant rice (6.47%), white glutinous rice (2.75%), and brown rice (0.24%).
By the end of this year, Thailand expects rice exports to increase to nine million tons, generating revenue of 230,000 million baht (US$6.67 billion).
