Celebrating Friendship

Bangkok, 7 October 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hosted the “Amazing Thailand Mid-Autumn Night 2025” at One Bangkok, marking 50 years of Thailand–China friendship during “Nihao Month.” The event welcomed 100 Chinese KOLs, content creators, and media, coinciding with China’s Golden Week and the Mid-Autumn Festival. This celebration reinforced cultural connections and Thailand’s status as a favored travel destination.

Building Connections

Notable attendees included Mr. Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, Minister of Tourism and Sports, and Mr. Yang Xiao Long from the Chinese Embassy. Their presence emphasized the event’s significance as a cultural bridge. Highlights included Thai and Chinese performances, a mooncake-making ceremony symbolizing reunion, and interactions with Thai celebrities like Billkin Putthipong Assaratanakul.

Exploring Thailand

Participants explored Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, and Ko Samui, sharing their experiences on Chinese digital platforms. They enjoyed Thailand’s “5 Must Do” activities and its Smart and Sustainable Tourism initiatives. Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, highlighted these efforts, aimed at deepening the Thailand–China connection and expanding tourism through creative campaigns and partnerships.
