Bangkok, 6 August 2024 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is emphasizing sustainable tourism by partnering with The Cloud to host the Amazing Green Fest 2024. The event will take place from 15 to 18 August at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, Bangkok. This fest symbolizes TAT’s commitment to socially and environmentally responsible tourism with a heart-shaped leaf added to the Amazing Thailand logo, and it’s their first ‘Carbon Neutral Event’ endorsed by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO).
Sustainability and Economic Growth
TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool emphasizes the festival’s role in aligning with Thailand’s 20-Year National Strategy and the 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan. The festival aims to advance Thailand’s tourism ecosystem towards sustainability, focusing on quality tourists with significant purchasing power and long-stay preferences. This initiative seeks to improve sustainability standards, promote hidden gems, and balance tourism income distribution across the country.

The Amazing Green Fest 2024 includes six zones featuring sustainable tourism activities: Green Tourism, Green Business, Green Learning, Green Food, Green Playground, and The Cloud Sharing Space.
