Bangkok Bank continues its mission as a “giver” by organizing “BBL x Blood Challenge” activity

Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich joins volunteers to donate blood in the BBL x Blood Challenge organized by Personal Banking in collaboration with the National Blood Center of the Thai Red Cross Society. The event, which recently took place at the Silom Head Office, featured a mobile blood donation unit for the Bank’s executives and staff to donate their blood. It collected 149 units of blood or 59,600 cc, enough to save 447 lives.

As a “trusted partner” that is ready to stand beside Thai people during the crisis, the Bank has arranged blood donations on a quarterly basis using the mobile blood donation unit for 26 consecutive years, which is enough to save more than 138,495 lives thanks to great cooperation from volunteers and bank staff including executives who express themselves as “givers” by regularly participating in blood donations to give back to society.
