The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and the Bank of Thailand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the use of land for the construction of the Purple Line electric railway project from Taopoon-Rat Burana, which will be 23.63 km long with 17 stations. The SRT will oversee the construction in accordance with environmental impact assessment guidelines and will collaborate with the Bank of Thailand to ensure that the land use is suitable for the project. The Bank of Thailand is looking forward to the completion of this project, as it will provide a convenient and fast transportation option
