SEATTLE and NEW YORK and SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ZONDISION, a comprehensive innovator in glasses-free light-field display technology, debuted its flagship light-field monitor, the ZIMO M1, at PAX West 2026. Concurrently, the company launched three developer-centric offerings: the ZimoMatrix game conversion engine, the ZimoInstant image and video conversion engine, and ZimoClaw, a platform for light-field gaming experiences. [![](https://mmx.prnasia.com/media/MS1985563/20260910031513EDT_image_2.jpg?id=OA2940872&p=medium600)](https://mmx.prnasia.com/media/MS1985563/20260910031513EDT_image_2.jpg?id=OA2940872&p=medium600) Complementing the product unveilings, ZONDISION officially inaugurated its Global Developer Program, granting access to low-level optical interfaces, its proprietary rendering SDK, and fundamental spatial imaging functionalities. This initiative aims to empower developers and content creation teams globally to generate and deploy high-fidelity light-field 3D content with enhanced efficiency. At PAX West, the ZIMO M1 served as the display technology for a public demonstration area featuring over 100 games enhanced for light-field 3D, drawing consistent engagement from players and developers throughout the exhibition. Furthermore, ZONDISION engaged in numerous preliminary partnership discussions with international game development studios during the event. Leveraging ZONDISION’s proprietary ASIC technology, low-latency eye-tracking systems, and switchable 2D/3D display capabilities, the ZIMO M1 facilitates seamless transitions between conventional 2D and glasses-free 3D viewing modes. It preserves native image fidelity in 2D mode and minimizes crosstalk in 3D, obviating the need for eyewear to deliver a more natural and accessible stereoscopic gaming and media experience. Attendees at PAX frequently remarked on the heightened sense of depth and dimensionality perceived when viewing familiar games rendered in light-field 3D. Collectively, ZimoMatrix, ZimoInstant, and ZimoClaw constitute an end-to-end toolchain for the creation, optimization, and consumption of content on ZONDISION’s light-field display platforms. \*\*ZimoMatrix: Facilitating the Transition of Existing Games to Light-Field 3D\*\* ZimoMatrix functions as ZONDISION’s engine for 3D game development and conversion. Its design prioritizes enabling developers and ZONDISION engineers to integrate existing game titles into the glasses-free 3D ecosystem rather than serving as a foundational game development engine. Compatible with leading game development environments such as Unreal Engine and Unity, ZimoMatrix provides functionalities for 3D rendering, conversion, depth and view processing, compatibility optimization, and the generation of Game 3D Profiles. \*\*ZimoInstant: Enhancing Accessibility in 3D Content Creation\*\* ZimoInstant is an image and video conversion utility engineered to broaden the accessibility of light-field content production. It enables the conversion of standard images, recorded video footage, and other visual media into 3D output compatible with light-field displays. By streamlining the conversion process, ZimoInstant empowers developers and content creators to produce 3D visual assets without necessitating intricate professional production workflows. \*\*ZimoClaw: Orchestrating the Comprehensive 3D Gaming Experience\*\* ZimoClaw represents ZONDISION’s player-oriented platform for managing and optimizing the complete light-field gaming experience. This platform offers full-lifecycle management services, including Game 3D Profile administration, tunable visual parameter settings, game management, compatibility optimization, troubleshooting protocols, and profile updates, thereby ensuring a stable and optimized light-field 3D experience for each supported game. ZimoClaw also provides users access to an expanding catalog of games and 3D content specifically optimized for ZONDISION displays. \*\*A New Global Developer Program\*\* In conjunction with its new software tools, ZONDISION announced the Global Developer Program, through which the company intends to extend access to its foundational spatial technologies to a worldwide developer community. The program encompasses access to ZONDISION’s rendering SDK, optical interfaces, and spatial imaging capabilities, with support for development environments and standards including Unity, Unreal Engine, C++, and OpenXR. By making these capabilities available, ZONDISION also aims to advance glasses-free 3D technology beyond the gaming sector into domains such as digital creation, AI-generated content, professional visualization, and other interactive applications. \*\*Transitioning from Superior Displays to a Sustainable 3D Ecosystem\*\* ZONDISION’s core technical team comprises optical engineers and algorithm specialists with over a decade of expertise in stereoscopic display technologies. The company’s end-to-end research and development capabilities encompass optical architecture, custom light-field display ASICs, eye tracking, 3D rendering, and spatial imaging algorithms. Earlier this year, the ZIMO M1 successfully concluded a Kickstarter campaign, earning a "Project We Love" designation and exceeding its initial funding target by over 2,368%, with contributions from backers across more than 20 countries and regions. The historical challenge for 3D has not solely been the development of superior display hardware; a sustainable ecosystem necessitates accessible development tools, a robust content library, and intuitive user pathways for content discovery and interaction. ZONDISION is addressing these interconnected challenges holistically: ZIMO provides the display platform; ZimoMatrix and ZimoInstant facilitate content creation and conversion; ZimoClaw bridges content with users; and the Global Developer Program democratizes access to the underlying technology for a broader creator base. For 3D to achieve mainstream integration in daily computing, it requires more than enhanced displays; it demands a comprehensive ecosystem. ZONDISION is actively constructing such an ecosystem. \*\*About ZONDISION\*\* ZONDISION is a full-stack company specializing in glasses-free light-field display technology. Its capabilities span optical design, custom 3D processing, eye tracking, spatial rendering, display hardware, developer SDKs, conversion utilities, and content solutions. The company’s technologies and products support a wide array of applications, including gaming, media, CAD, medical visualization, education, AIGC, and other professional and consumer use cases.
