New 5,000-metric-ton press increases heat exchanger plate production at Tranter’s Vänersborg site
VÄNERSBORG, Sweden, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Tranter today inaugurates a new 5,000-metric-ton press at its Vänersborg manufacturing site, expanding production capacity for heat exchanger plates and strengthening the company’s ability to serve growing customer needs across global markets.
Designed for the production of heat exchanger plates, the new press features advanced automation and precision control technology to enable higher throughput, high precision and greater production efficiency. Modern safety and energy-efficient technology will also help reduce energy consumption and contribute to a safer and more sustainable manufacturing environment.
