By leveraging smart handover technology and intelligent network management, LITEON, alongside NTT EAST, achieved remarkable energy savings and operational efficiency. A key highlight of the tests was the demonstration of a 64.82% reduction in energy consumption, achieved through the combined use of LITEON’s Service Management Orchestration (SMO) and a third-party application, which enable smart handovers and dynamic switching off of redundant all-in-one small cells (AIOs) during non-peak times.
