HONG KONG, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The 41st ITE (Leisure) and 22nd ITE-MICE will take place from June 10–13, 2027 at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, with separate B2B and B2C days, connecting global exhibitors with serious buyers and affluent travelers from the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and beyond.

Why the GBA matters: With core cities like Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the GBA remains an economic powerhouse. Its GDP of US$2.15 trillion makes it the world’s 10th largest economy, while Hong Kong, home to 40% of GBA’s high-net-worth families (RMB10 million+), alone spent US$30.3 billion on outbound travel in 2025, with residents making 15.7 departures per capita annually.
At ITE Hong Kong, two out of every three trade buyers come from this region – the most direct and cost-effective entry point into China’s premium travel market.
ITE2026 – the 40th anniversary edition – featured 602 exhibitors from 69 countries/regions and drew 8,442 trade buyers (20% from Guangdong, 16% from other Chinese provinces and 17% from other Asian markets). Trade visitors included 54% travel agents and 22% MICE professionals. Public attendance exceeded 74,000 frequent and affluent travelers: 75% took multiple holidays in 2025 and 63% plan higher travel budgets in 2026.
The fair enjoyed strong official support: Hong Kong SAR’s Chief Executive delivered a welcoming message, and China’s Ministry of Culture & Tourism organized its largest pavilion with hundreds of exhibitors from 20 participating provinces and municipalities including Beijing and Shanghai.

Pre- and post-show online interest was strong: 881,102 visits to ITE’s trade website www.itehk.com from March to July 2026 – peaking at 290,670 in June.
ITE’s B2B program includes Business Matching (buyers seated by markets, exhibitors come to them), KOL networking session, and rentable in-hall meeting rooms for hosting workshops or presentations.
The B2C program features over 100 seminars (many by KOLs, drawing 200+ attendees), themed displays (e.g., ICE/SNOW pavilion), and Junior KOL Catwalk – attracting young affluent parents and their children. Exhibitors can apply for a free 25-minute seminar session, or engage visitors at their booth with photo opportunities and games.
Exhibitors may sell directly to public visitors – ITE survey found 43% were interested in booking and paying on-site via mobile – subject to compliance with local laws.
Booth rental starts from US$480/SQM (raw space) and US$530/SQM (shell scheme). Inquiries: www.itehk.com | WhatsApp +852-94008444 | travel@tkshk.com | WeChat: ite_hongkong
