Shared, multi-tenant AI infrastructure accelerates smart manufacturing R&D and validation

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — INFINITIX, an AI infrastructure software company, today announced the deployment of its enterprise-grade AI infrastructure management platform, AI-Stack, at Korea’s Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center (SMIC) — marking the first adoption of Taiwan-developed AI infrastructure software within South Korea’s national smart manufacturing testbed.

SMIC validates smart factory technologies and industrial AI applications. As its research scope expands, the center needed a platform to efficiently manage shared GPU, storage, and networking resources across multiple researchers and concurrent projects.

AI-Stack meets this need through software-defined GPU orchestration, heterogeneous resource management, and multi-tenant controls — giving researchers fast, on-demand GPU access and administrators centralized control through a unified interface. Intelligent scheduling reduces GPU idle time, prioritizes workloads, and improves utilization, supporting TCO optimization while scaling alongside SMIC’s manufacturing AI Data Center (AIDC) and its development of manufacturing foundation models (MFMs).

"SMIC’s stringent requirements for infrastructure stability, resource utilization, and scalability align directly with the core value of AI-Stack," said Star Ko, General Manager of INFINITIX Korea. "This deployment validates our expertise in software-defined GPU and heterogeneous computing orchestration at industrial scale."

As SMIC continues expanding its manufacturing AIDC, AI-Stack will provide a consistent, scalable foundation to support AI model development, training, and validation as infrastructure, users, and workloads grow.
