— Combining Both Companies’ Astatine At-211 Assets, Development Capabilities, and Supply Chains to Create a Global Targeted Alpha Therapy Company —

TOKYO, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Alpha Fusion Inc. ("Alpha Fusion"), a clinical-stage company with an advanced At-211 drug platform, and Curadh MTR. Inc. ("Curadh"), a company developing next-generation radiopharmaceuticals, announced the appointment of Dr. Alison Armour as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Alpha Fusion. The two companies also announced that they have entered into a Letter of Intent ("LOI") to integrate their respective Astatine-211 (At-211) programs. This appointment, together with the planned integration, significantly strengthens Alpha Fusion’s international clinical development capabilities and positions the company to lead the global development of At-211-based therapies.

Astatine radiopharmaceuticals use the radioactive halogen isotope Astatine-211 (²¹¹At) to deliver highly localized alpha-particle radiation directly to cancer cells.  In June 2025, the two companies announced a strategic partnership to advance the global development of At-211-based radiopharmaceuticals. This announcement marks a further deepening of that collaboration.

Through this integration, Alpha Fusion’s At-211 drug discovery platform, its clinical-stage pipeline, and its know-how and capabilities across the At-211 drug supply chain will be combined with Dr. Armour’s proven track record in clinical development and regulatory affairs and Curadh’s radiopharmaceutical development capabilities. Together, the two companies intend to build a global development organization with strong capabilities in both the United States and Japan — believed to be the only company in the world with multiple clinical-stage pipelines in the At-211 space.

Sunao Fujioka, Representative Director and CEO, Alpha Fusion, Inc.

"This announcement marks a major milestone in Alpha Fusion’s growth as a global company. In collaboration with Japanese institutions and companies, we have advanced At-211 clinical trials and demonstrated that Astatine based drugs can be manufactured and delivered throughout Japan.  By combining this expertise with Dr. Armour’s track record of securing global approval for pioneering radiopharmaceuticals, we will now have an integrated framework establishing our position as the global leader in astatine drug discovery and clinical development. We look forward to working closely with the Curadh team as we jointly lead the integration of our two companies."

Dr. Alison Armour, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Alpha Fusion, Inc.

"At-211 holds great potential to transform the treatment paradigm for cancer. Our Alpha Fusion colleagues have overcome the distribution challenges associated with this short half-life of the isotope, building on Japan’s leading edge in At-211 development, and we will use their experience in the global development of these compounds. By joining Alpha Fusion as CMO I can immediately contribute to the development of At-211 products while we pioneer the integration of our companies."

Glenn Kazo, Curadh’s CEO

"This partnership is a key component of Curadh’s founding mission to "cure with radiation" and I look forward to continuing to lead the company’s integration. Together with Alpha Fusion, we combine a broad range of international investors, isotope suppliers and partners that is poised to accelerate astatine products into the marketplace."
