(TWSE: 2353) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024 and fiscal 2024 ended December 31. In the fourth quarter, Acer reported consolidated revenues of NT$66.02 billion, gross profits of NT$6.95 billion with 10.5% margin, operating income of NT$1.02 billion with 1.6% margin, and net income \[1\] of NT$1.43 billion with earning-per-share (EPS) of NT$0.47. For the full year of 2024, consolidated revenues reached NT$264.68 billion, gross profits of NT$28.00 billion with 10.6% margin, operating income was NT$4.88 billion with 15.4% growth year-on-year and 1.8% margin, and net income \[1\] was NT$5.54 billion with earning-per-share (EPS) of NT$1.84. Acer’s strategy to build multiple business engines continued to make progress, reaching a total of 13 public subsidiaries by the end of 2024. Businesses other than personal computers \[2\] and displays contributed 37.4% of the operating income and 28.3% of the revenues in 2024.
