Phillips lost her father in May 2020 and her mother just 15 months later, after caring for her through a rare neurological condition. Unable to be with her father when he died because of COVID border restrictions, Phillips was left grieving while navigating the complex administration that followed. She found herself managing more than 40 practical tasks, including notifying banks, superannuation funds, insurers and government agencies, gathering documents and locating assets. *"I didn’t have the capacity to properly grieve because everything I had went into forms, phone calls and follow-ups,"* said Phillips, Founder of Sage Executor Solutions. That experience led Phillips to establish Sage Executor Solutions and, more recently, create the Online Executor Digital Masterclass to make practical guidance available to more Australians. The self-paced Masterclass takes participants through the executor journey, covering what to do immediately after a death, banks and superannuation, insurance, property, government notifications, digital assets and estate records.
