Alibaba Cloud is partnering with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to enhance broadcasting for the upcoming Milano Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. By integrating advanced AI and cloud technologies, including Alibaba’s Qwen, the collaboration aims to deliver smarter, faster, and more efficient broadcasting. This marks the first implementation of Large Language Model (LLM) technology at the Olympics, alongside the establishment of a next-generation Olympic archive. These innovations are designed to significantly improve the viewing experience and operational efficiency during the Games, reflecting Alibaba Cloud’s commitment to advancing digital technology in sports broadcasting.
