Bangkok Bank Director and Executive Vice President Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom said the Bank joined FTI Expo 2022, which runs from June 29 – July 3, 2022 at Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, to showcase and enhance the county’s target industries under the government’s Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG Economy) policy to support the country’s reopening and facilitate Thai industries’ transition to more sustainable ways of doing business. The Expo featured activities showcasing products and innovations, seminars and business matching with the goal of helping Thailand move towards sustainable economic development. Bangkok Bank featured an activity booth under the concept of “Creating Value for a Sustainable Future” to provide valuable financial products and services for customers to help their businesses create sustainable growth in the future, which is one of the Bank’s policies.
The Bank’s booth was divided into three zones: 1) The knowledge for sustainability zone featured information about responsible business conduct for sustainability and how it brings in Environment, Social and Governance – ESG to be a part of an organization’s culture. The Bank also presented “Tongtin Inter”, a book which featured brand building success stories of local products and travel destinations nationwide. Customers can download the e-book for free. The Bank’s Puan Koo Kit TV Program also supported Thai SME and startups, while the Bank’s project to help SME manage and improve their digital marketing efforts provided knowledge to entrepreneurs via digital media e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and the web.
2) The products and services for business customers zone presented Bualuang Green Loan for SME that want to invest in environmentally friendly businesses together with a Green Credit project which supports entrepreneurs that use environmentally friendly technologies and are energy efficient. Bualuang Business Trade Super Save service is a Trade Finance service for SME, while Cash Management helps customers to manage all their financials via electronic channels, enhancing liquidity management in their company to get the maximum benefit.
3) The products and services for consumer zone is led by digital banking services which consist of Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking, an application that helps manage all transactions anytime, anywhere; e-Savings Account, convenient for all savings and investments; Be1st Digital Debit Card, allowing customers to be secure and confident with every online purchase while enjoying discounts and cash back worth more than 2,300 baht; BeMerchant NextGen, an application that accepts QR Code payments for merchants; PromptPay International, a same-day fund transfer from Thailand to Singapore with a fee of 150 baht per transaction; Bangkok Bank Credit Cards with special privileges from various stores; and Bualuang Home Loan with special offers during the event. In addition, cash deposit and withdrawal as well as account opening services are also available at the booth.
