Going for “8 million cc x 2” – Bangkok Bank, your ‘trusted partner’, led by Executive Vice President Pochanee Kongkalai (4th from left), Vice President, Office of the President Penmart Hengparinyathorn (2nd from left), Vice Presidents, Public Relations Department Aphiwat Punnopakorn (3rd from right) and Suwit Indrachalerm (right), Vice President, Central Region 3 Manager Nithirut Siriruchiphat (left), Assistant Vice President, Central Region 4 Manager Ruttana Lekcharoenrut (3rd from left) and Assistant Vice President, Health Care Dr.Sripetch Kanjanakeerana (2nd from right) joined Piyanan Kumkrong, Assistant Director of Blood Procurement and Corporate Image of the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, to kick-off “8 million cc x 2” and announce Bangkok Bank’s commitment to continue collecting blood reserves for the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society. This activity is a continuation of the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project which reached its target of collecting 8 million cc of blood ahead of schedule in February 2024. Launched in April 2023, the project originally aimed to reach its target on Bangkok Bank’s 80th anniversary in December 2024.
Currently, 8.7 million cc (8,791,200 cc as of April 9, 2024) from 21,978 donors has been collected as part of this project which is expected to help more than 60,000 patients.
Bangkok Bank recognises the importance of maintaining blood reserves and invites the Bank’s executives, employees, partners and customers, as well as the general public, to be “givers” by regularly donating blood to increase blood reserves and save lives.
Those interested in the “8 million cc x 2” activity can donate blood at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society’s 12 locations nationwide, mobile blood donation units and any provincial hospital which acts as a blood service branch hospital. Simply scan the QR code and fill in your information to ensure your blood will be counted as part of the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project.
Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society will set up mobile blood donation units at Bangkok Bank, Silom Head Office and Rama III building to facilitate blood donations from the Bank’s executives, employees and customers as well as the general public on April 17, 2024, and continue this every three months until November 2024.
